Group Booking Terms and Conditions

We offer a comprehensive programme of Dancing holidays throughout the year hosted by professional teachers. We welcome Groups to join any of theses holidays or you may wish to host your own holiday.

Our Dancing Holidays Include:
5 nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast.
5 evenings dancing.
Free morning Dance Tuition
with a break for tea or coffee at 60p per cup.

Bedrooms
The Hotel has 24 Double rooms, 16 Twin rooms and 5 Single rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, colour television with radio, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. If additional single rooms are required, the Hotel may be prepared to offer double rooms for single occupancy for a small supplement. (maximum 5 rooms).

Ballroom
The spacious ballroom has a magnificent sprung maple dance floor
(“48 x 30” = 1440 sq.feet) and is fully air-conditioned. The ballroom is totally self-contained with a bar, ladies and gents cloakrooms and a lift to access all the other floors. We can provide speakers, amplifier and a microphone if required. Guests are requested to refrain from smoking in the ballroom.

Prices

The prices of our holidays are quoted in the Piccadilly Times.

Group prices are available on request for :

a) Groups of 50 or more joining one of our 5 night holidays or dancing weekends.

Groups of 60 or more hosting their own holiday and organising their own music for dancing. prices are available on request.

Dance Vouchers
Dedicated Dance Vouchers are not issued or accepted for Group bookings.

Free Places
We offer 2 free places for 50 paying customers, subject to full payment as per booking terms below.

Making a Booking and Balance of Payment
We require confirmation in writing together with a non-refundable deposit of £25.00 from each member of the Group payable at the time of booking. The balance of payment must be received at least one month prior to the date of arrival.

Rooming List
It is in the interest of the Organiser and the Group to submit the rooming list as far ahead as possible. The Hotel will obviously be taking other bookings apart from the Group and if the Organiser wishes to request specific rooms (e.g. Ground Floor) then an early request makes it more likely that the hotel will be able meet the requirement. Rooming lists should be forwarded to the Hotel no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy and Insurance
When an Organiser pays a deposit for a holiday it confirms that a contract has been made. If the Organiser then cancels all or part of the booking he/she would be liable for a cancellation charge of two thirds of the total cost of the holiday, if the date is not re-let. It is therefore in the interest of the Organiser to take up Group Insurance, and keep the hotel informed on the booking condition.
We enclose details of a Holiday Insurance Scheme with your confirmation letter, which we strongly recommend Organisers to take advantage of in case of cancellation.

Parties
If you cannot make up a Group you may qualify for a discount if you bring a Party (from 10-50 people) to one of our 5 night holidays or dancing weekends.
